A Classic DJ Womp Beat: Glitch Beat

Glitch Beat by IYQ

Well, since I've posted some of DJ Mope's earliest work (it is his only work btw :) I thought I would share one of my better beats when I first started. It was made just before the summer of 2010. This one is very short, coming in at a mind-melting 52 seconds. The biggest thing I would like to point out is that when it comes to everything I do, Fruitly Loops, Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc..I am completely Self-Taught.
Enjoy.

EDIT: In case you guys didn't realize, I'm DJ Womp!

Also: The track does work, for me at least. I have no idea why it won't work for some of you!
Anyways, here the direct soundcloud link: http://soundcloud.com/iyq/glitch-beat Enjoy!

  11. That's a wicked sick synth in the intro. So you use FL Studio? Me too! :D I'm thinking about making the move to Ableton though... seems like it's the industry standard for DJs and electronic musicians. FL Studio is so user-friendly though... gah...

  14. @Dubbadeedoo Yeah, A LOT of producers use Ableton. However, I know that Basshunter uses Fruity Loops, and I've heard that Soulja Boy does too. More here: http://flstudio.image-line.com/documents/powerusers.html

But what really makes the songs are the plug-ins, give Massive and Gladiator a try for some really high quality synth sounds.
